General Press has been printing In-Mold labels since 2001. We have over 17 years of experience with various robotics, injection equipment, static charge equipment, films, inks and coatings. All of these factors, along with exceptional customer service, come together to produce a quality label for your IML cup, lid, tub or part. Our labels are engineered to function reliably in your production environment.
Our printing method allows your job to dry immediately. When needed, we can cut and ship labels with very short lead times. This allows us to respond quickly to changes in your production schedule or last minute changes to copy. Often with food products, there are ingredient changes and promotions that need to be addressed quickly. With our technology we can respond as your schedule demands.
We print on a variety of substrates such as clear, cavitated, metalized, and solid polypropylene films. Each offers its own look, benefits, and characteristics. We are always testing new products and materials as they become available.
Precision die cutting is critical to producing quality In-Mold labels. We have the capability to accurately cut small, medium and large format labels, up to 39 inches in width. We have several options for performing this, including counter pressure high die and rotary die cutting.
