The
General Press Annual Charity Golf Outing
Each
year in August, General Press holds a golf outing
to benefit a local charity organization. As we begin
to plan our 14th annual golf outing, we are pleased
to announce that we have raised and donated more than
$76,500 to charities such as Meals on Wheels, Habitat
for Humanity, St. Vincent DePaul Society, Community
Library of Allegheny Valley, and the Hope Center.
The participants
in the outing are General Press employees, customers
and suppliers and the event usually attracts a sold
out crowd. In fact, the event has become so popular
in the Alle-Kiski Valley, that a waiting list has
been established for those wanting to participate
in upcoming years.
